The Crazy Ladies meet every Thursday morning at 10am inside the Coopersville Farm Museum. They began as a group learning to Crazy Quilt and evolved into a group of individuals that get together and work on various projects. All are welcome. Museum members admission is free, all other will be required to pay museum admission to attend. The Coopersville Farm Museum hosts a wall-to-wall quilt show every August and September with the help of the Crazy Ladies Quilting Circle. Over 130 quilts, old and new are on display. The Lighthouse Quilt Guild meets the second Monday of the month at the United Methodist Church of the Dunes. There is a social time at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Members of the guild started having fun and learning from each other in 1994. Their monthly meetings are filled with national and local speakers, show-and-tell, and local quilt vendors. The Lighthouse Quilt Guild uses two of their monthly meetings for sew-ins to make quilts for local charities. Annual retreats, bus trips, and workshops are just some of the other things they do together. Their annual quilt show is held the last Friday and Saturday of July.
