HQN is a network of quilt professionals and quilt guilds. We meet one time a year in March in the Kansas City area. At the meeting, guilds can book professionals and we have discussions about common issues of both groups. Membership is $20 and it includes the use of the members only part of the website, 4 issues of the newsletter, and attendance at the annual meeting in March.

Our guild purpose is to bring together everyone who shares a common love of quilts, young and old, beginner and professional, traditional and contemporary. We all come together, willing to share our knowledge about quilts. Many new friendships are born as we participate in projects and use all forms of art through social, educational and community activities.
Each month an informative quilt-related program is given and occasionally a hands-on experience is part of our agenda.
The guild is involved in the community. We donate many quilts to various organizations, deliver Senior Meals and host a biannual quilt show, to name a few.

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month except in June and December. Our meetings start at 1:00pm We have a short business meeting, a program speaker, and refreshments. Dues are $20.00 for the year. We have an annual Quilt Show the last Saturday and Sunday of September, this year it is September 26 & 27, 2009. Our special exhibit this year will be Gees Bend Alabama Quilt and Quilters.
