The AAQG general membership meeting is held the first Monday night of the month, unless a holiday interferes and the meeting is delayed, usually until the second Monday. The meeting is held at Faith Lutheran Church located at 6600 Woodrow, Austin, TX.
Membership in the Austin Area Quilt Guild is open to anyone interested in quilts -- beginning, intermediate, and advanced quilters, as well as collectors and admirers. Monthly guild meeting provide an opportunity for quilt enthusiasts to enjoy fellowship, fun, speakers and programs covering many aspects of quilting. The monthly meeting also includes "Show and "Tell" where members and guests present their recent work.
The membership year is from July 1 to June 30. Annual dues are $25 with special rates for seniors, juniors, and new members joining after mid-year.

Quilt Guild of Greater Houston is a group of quilters and quilt lovers, almost 400 strong, who meet to share our love of this artform. You don't need to be a quilter to join the guild. We are a mid size guild with about 80 members. For the convience of our members we have an afternoon meeting and an evening one. At 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of the month, except June when we have our show. It is the Friday and Saturday after Father's Day each year. We are associates of the City of Mesquite Parks and Recreation Department and proud members of the Texas Association of Quilt Guilds. Our membership includes some master quilters and some who never make a quilt but love and collect them. We welcome beginners and have friendship groups that will help and advise them.
