I made this for my youngest son's birthday last October(08). He likes purple, so I used that color and hand dyed the connecting squares a light lavender. Linda Howard, my cousin, did the quilting with purple thread and it really came out nice. The binding was made from the triangles that I used in the quilt. It's from a 1936 pattern that my grandmother had. My Name is Glenda Mosher from the great state of Oklahoma.
