Bottles (Conny's quilts)
I wanted to catch the reflection of colors in glass. So I started to make a composition with liquid filled bottles and a glass of wine and made pictures of it. I printed one photo and made a pattern of it. I then selected little pieces of batic and ironed them with vliesofix at my underground. I machine quilted the bottles with glimmering silver to make them shine in the sun.
In the border I made batic triangles and. This quilt was at the exhibition of the Dutch quiltersguild last year september. I love it for it was my first experiment to make an art-like quilt.
