Gran's Garden by Anna McCurdy
This quilt was made for my grandmother's 85th birthday. The center block was taken from a Mccall Quilting magazine from the late 1990's. It is a colorwash Iris.The body of the quilt is 30 X40 2 inch squares. The border is machine applique and the design was taken from an Australian Patchwork and Quilting magazine. My gran loved flowers and Irises were one of her favorites. She treasured the quilt and it was returned to me after she passed away in the fall of 2003.
